Last month, I had the pleasure of traveling with Refuel Singles Ministry to the beautiful Boyne Mountain in Boyne Falls, MI. It was absolutely breath taking. It was my first time hitting the slopes so I decided to take lessons. The lessons were great and I had a top notch instructor but had the toughest time nailing that pizza slice. It was still fun though.
After a few hours of playing around on the skis I decided to go tubing. At Boyne Mountain they have these 700 ft. lanes that you ride an intertube down. That was a blast I went down those lanes either sitting straight up or on my belly with tremendous speed. Pure Awesomeness!!! Later on we ate dinner at Stein Ericksen's which was yummy. Overall, Boyne was a great experience. The atmosphere was charged with positive energy and was warm and welcoming. The staff was outstanding. They were so caring. One of them helped me up and down the stairs with my skis and my instructor spent time with me one on one although it was a group lesson. They have everything from the spa to zip lining. So if you're in Michigan and are looking for a place to take your family or just yourself I would recommend to you Boyne Mountain you will not be disappointed.
